I'm happy to kick off the first Sandy Pasch Campaign Email Update with lots of great news about who's supporting me, the terrific events we have coming up and how you can pitch in to help us win this fall. And we've only just begun!
If you would like to get more involved with my campaign, please contact my volunteer co-coordinator Phyllis Blackburn tillyblee [at] hotmail [dot] com at any time. There's a lot to do between now and the election, so all help is appreciated.
I couldn't be this successful without you. Thank you for your continued support!
Sandy Pasch
22nd Assembly 2008
1,200 Doors!
The most effective way for any candidate to earn votes is to talk with people face to face. Sandy's goal is to knock on thousands of doors between now and the primary. Despite our up and down weather, Sandy has already been to over 1,200 doors! After the election is over she is going to need a new pair of shoes!
Sandy's Supporters!
Sandy has spent the last 22 years in the North Shore area and has gained the support of a broad coalition of elected officials, community leaders and long-time residents. For a list of her supporters click HERE. If you would like to be added to the list, just respond to this email and let us know.
What Voters Are Saying
Talking with voters in the 22nd district has confirmed what most of us know already-healthcare reform is the number one concern of voters in our area.
One Shorewood man, a Vietnam vet, told Sandy he feels lucky to be a veteran, because if he wasn't, he doesn't know how he'd pay for the cancer treatments he's currently undergoing.
A female resident told Sandy her 58 year old sister just moved in with her and is just hoping she doesn't get sick before she's eligible for Medicare, because she has no insurance.
We can all see that there is something terribly wrong with these scenarios!
As a nurse and community advocate, Sandy profoundly understands the complexities related to healthcare, for both the insured and uninsured. She will apply this experience in the assembly to make healthcare reform a reality in Wisconsin.
